I watched The Fall last night. I'd had a second hand copy for months, but had hesitated to watch it. Well, it was wonderful. Ambitious, crazy, eye-popping, but anchored by a wonderfully naturalistic child performance. ( spoilery? synopsis )

I watched the deleted scenes on X-Men 3, most of which I can see why they dropped, but there were two alternate scenes that would have made me dislike the film less. ( Predictably, they involve Wolverine and Rogue )

I've finally seen the trailer for Half Blood Prince. It may have been something to do with the projection/screen, but this looks like being quite literally the darkest HP adaptation (which Daniel Radcliffe always promises, well, metaphorically). Finally! A chance to catch up. No, actually, that's disingenious. I've managed to sneak in a lot of fic reading this week, but I was in reading mode, I suppose. And, as you will see, I've watched the usual amount of TV this week. More perhaps.
